  • Concrete wastewater turbidity and suspended solids are stabilized (test results show 2,140 ntu before Zero-Con and 4.9 ntu after Zero-Con)
  • Concrete wastewater is ready for recycle!
    • Concrete solids are also ready for recycling or disposal!
  • Adjust concrete wastewater to a pH between 6.5 to 9 (if concerned about pH level for discharge or recycle).
  • Test the clear water with pH test strips to insure pH stabalized between 6.5 to 9 (if concerned about pH level for discharge or recycle).
  • Concrete wastewater is now ready for recycle, ground discharge or POTW!
  • Concrete solids are also ready for recycling or disposal!

Zero-Con starts separating solids and water in seconds, turbidity is lowered to almost Zero. If needed, adjust pH level after Zero-Con has treated solids to manageable state. Water & Solids are ready to Recycle or Discharge!

Zero-Con™ is a special blend of proprietary components that successfully coagulates the suspended solids found in concrete wastewater and stabilizes the derived pH. The resultant coagulated solids settle to the bottom of the mixture allowing the clear water to be decanted from the system. After treatment the decanted water can be safely discharged to the ground or POTW or recycle. The remaining solids can be disposed of or recycled without further treatment.

In many applications Zero-Con™ creates a 100% Recyclable Environment of concrete solids and concrete wastewater. Zero-Con™ clarifies the concrete wastewater to a state that reusing the water in most commercial grade equipment such as pumps and sprayers are permissible. Zero-Con also allows Ready Mix Producers and Pre-cast Plants to decrease holding ponds, recycle concrete wastewater and concrete solids.

Zero-Con™ is also useful in treating saw cutting concrete wastewater and slurry, allowing discharge or recycling. Contractors on construction sites with concrete washouts may also treat the concrete wastewater on site to a state allowing ground discharge, POTW or recycling.
