Two of the main concerns when discharging wastewater is (1) how turbid, or solid, is the water (2) will the contents of the waste water harm living organisms? We have performed extensive testing in various environments to address concerns like these.

Rainbow Trout Bioassay

with 100% survival rate

Zero-Con wastewater treatment has been tested and passed the Rainbow Trout Bioassay Test (Static-Renewal Acute Toxicity 96 Hour Bioassay). This means that we took the nastiest concrete waste water (looked like thick dark grey pancake batter) and treated it once with Zero-Con. After treatment the water looks clear. The pH level was adjusted between a 6.5-9. The lab then placed live Rainbow Trout in the treated water for 7 seven days. At the end of the 7 days 100% of the Rainbow Trout survived. This test allows direct discharge of Zero-Con treated water back into the rainbow trout stream nearby the construction site.
