Zero-Con™ allows waste water to be directly discharged on the ground and most cases directly into streams, rivers and lakes. We have worked with construction companies, environmentalists, environmental consulting companies, EPA and the like to perfect the proprietary formula of Zero-Con. Almost every construction site that discharges Zero-Con treated waste water into waterways performs a test called a Bioassay. This test places live fish into Zero-Con treated waste water for a determined amount of time to test if the fish will stay alive. Zero-Con passes the Bioassay test and considered "fish friendly".

Labs across the nation have been testing our Zero-Con proprietary blend to solve problems on construction sites. Product Description
Zero-Con is a special blend of proprietary components that successfully coagulates the suspended solids found in concrete waste water. The resultant coagulated solids settle to the bottom of the mixture allowing the clear water to be decanted from the system. After treatment the decanted water can be safely discharged to the ground, POTW or natural water ways. The remaining solids can be disposed of without further treatment.

Applying Zero-Con To Concrete Wastewater
Add Zero-Con™ at the rate of 1-2 grams per gallon. Mix by manual agitation or recirculation for 2 to 3 minutes. Observe mixture to ensure development of floc. If properly processed mixture will separate into clear water and settleable floc. Allow mixture to settle. If using Vinyl-Con Filter Bags remove this filter bag with settled solids inside. Adjust concrete wastewater with hydrochloric acid (muriatic) to a pH of between 6.5 to 9. Test the clear water with pH paper to ensure a resulting pH of between 6.5 to 9 prior to discharge.
