The Vinyl-Con™ Wall Washout is a patent pending mandated product by the EPA for contractors who are washing down walls. Pressure Washers, painters and the like wash down stucco, brick, stone, concrete etc. This wash water is contaminated with residue of paint and/or wash chemicals or soap. This contaminated wash water must be contained on the construction job site and may not enter into the storm drains.
How Vinyl-Con® Wall Wash Units Work
The Vinyl-Con® Wall Washout is affixed to the wall. The berm around the 20' long wall washout is designed to be filled with water and creates a 12" high berm perimeter. Begin washing the wall above the wall washout. The water will run down the wall and into the wall washout. The water is discharged through a 10 micron filter sock affixed to the end of the Vinyl-Con® Wall Washout.
When you are finished washing the first segment of wall area, simply move the Vinyl -Con® Wall Washout along the wall and affix again. Reuse the Vinyl-Con® Wall Wash unit again and again.
